A Focus on the Senses

"Students can "achieve greater awareness through the activities of daily living" (Miller 2013). This can help students become mindful.

 

  • Ask students what they know about the five senses/ what are they?

  • Give each student a healthy snack. Have them close their eyes, eat it and describe what it feels like, smells like, tastes like and sounds like.
